Why is mould appearing on Stay White/Clear Sanitary Silicone Sealant?
EVO-STIK Stay White/Clear Sanitary Silicone Sealant contains a fungicide to help resist mould growth. However, if a film of soap or other residue builds up on the sealant, it can prevent the fungicide from coming into contact with the mould. To help prevent this, clean the sealant regularly with a dilute bleach solution, approximately once a month.
How do I remove cured Stay White/Clear Sanitary Silicone Sealant?
There is no suitable solvent for removing cured EVO-STIK Stay White/Clear Sanitary Silicone Sealant. Carefully cut away any excess sealant with a sharp knife. Do not use solvents to remove sealant residue from skin. Use soap and water instead.
